Plastic Injection Mold Operator

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for an Operator for our Plastic Injection Molding client in Chesterfield, MI. This is a 3rd shift contract to hire position.
Pay Rate:$16
Shift:11pm to 7am Monday through Friday (overtime based upon production needs)
Position Summary:
Monitor plastics Injection Molding presses in our team manufacturing and assembly environment in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to inspection, packaging and handling of plastic parts and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Essential job functions:

• Access Real Time Screen for hours to go and scrap entry.
• Perform visual inspections
• Monitor work Cell and performs checks on all auxiliary equipment
• Final Audit
• Label, package, plastic product s according to the packaging instructions
• Maintain work cell cleanliness and 6s

Secondary Responsibilities (Lead Operator)

• Printing Labels
• Assist in NCR Process as needed
• Assist with completion and/ or verification or first/ last shot sheet
• Assist supervisor with machine assignments per shift
• Assist supervisor with shift change communication
• Scan finished goods to pallet label

EducationRequirements:
GED or Highschool Diploma
Essential Physical demands:

• Sit, stand ,walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
• Exert 20 to SO pounds of force occasionally, and/ or
• Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/ or
• Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
