Key duties include: 1) Work with the Multi-Plant General Manager, Soft Cheese Plant Manager, and Production teams to complete all tasks within production areas 2) Lead and foster a culture of employee engagement/ownership, continuous improvement, accountability, and learning 3) Develop plant metrics in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee development 4) Drive results against key performance indicators in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development 5) Oversee daily hard cheese make, affinage, and packaging operations and direct the team to ensure all tasks are being completed on time and accurately 6) Manage safety program and training to be compliant with company expectations and regulatory requirements 7) Lead efforts to optimize organization, labor efficiency, yield improvement and reduce overall cost per pound 8) Focus on shrink reduction to maximize profitability 9) Assign audits and organization of production programs to maintain audit-ready standards every day 10) Familiar with pasteurization concepts and regulatory requirements 11) Support appointed production liaison for regulatory and customer inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed 12) Lead hard cheese production projects, new equipment and expansion 13) Coordinate standard work for all production runs that detail each step in hard cheese make and packaging procedures to ensure accurate, consistent, safe, and quality products every time 14) Follow all policies and procedures the company has implemented regarding food and personal safety to assist in maintaining a safe work environment and safe, quality products at all times 15) Perform other duties as assigned Critical Requirements 1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please) 2) Recent experience in the dairy products industry is strongly preferred 3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in operations management If you are qualified and looking to work with a well-established company - one of the top names in the industry - you should not let this opportunity pass by.
