We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated professional individual to work as Planning Analytics Systems Manager to support our client. This position is hired as full-time CEF employee, but you will be working directly with the Client and will be responding to various inquiries and supporting requests from customers across multiple channels of communication to provide exceptional customer experience.
Overview
A Planning Analytics Manager, responsible for the work associated with designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving the client's planning models and processes. This position requires strategic, tactical and interpersonal skill sets with an eye for numbers, intellectual curiosity, proficiency at problem-solving, and a critical understanding of finance, accounting, and supply chain. The candidate must have a proven track record in data-rich analyses and be a team player. A 'roll up the sleeves' approach is mandatory and a 'get it done' attitude is a must.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with the Planning Analytics user community within IT and business functions.
- Communicating with IBM Planning Analytics support group.
- Designing, building, testing, and improving IBM Planning Analytics models.
- Continually improving and supporting financial month-end close process.
- Developing and optimizing the planning rules and processes for data transformation.
- Managing multiple offshore developers.
- Global user training.
Key Competencies/Skills
- Advanced knowledge on IBM Planning Analytics Platform, understands industry best practices.
- Advanced knowledge creating TI rules and processes for data management.
- Ability to gather and analyze end user requirements, build specifications.
- Ability to manage projects and project plans within stated timelines.
Qualifications
- 10+ years industry experience
- 7+ years' experience with TM1/IBM Planning analytics Development
- Good knowledge of finance, accounting, and supply chain management
- Ability to absorb & present complex ideas quickly & accurately.
- Ability to provide solutions to a tight deadline.
- Good time management.
- Have a positive approach to work and to fellow team members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with IBM Planning Analytics for Excel
- Experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace
- Experience in leading End-to-End Planning Analytics business model and application development.
- Resourceful and creative in solving complex issues and working collaboratively with others on a solution.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or Computer related field.

Work hours, Compensation, Conditions
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time
- Work Location: Teaneck, NJ
- Salary: To be determined based on the experience & qualification
