How will you make an impact in this role?

The Technology Workforce and Talent Excellence (TWTE) team is a center of excellence (COE) that tightly aligns with and supports the strategic talent objectives of the Technology organization. As our Technology organization continues to evolve, so must our talent strategy.

Our aspiration is to be the best, most inclusive and diverse place to work in Technology, bar none. Our Workforce Strategy is to have the best talent, in the right locations, and an optimized global cost structure. The Program ManagerStrategic Workforce Planning (SWP) Analytics will support and enable our internal partners, including the Technology Leadership Team (TLT) and their leadership teams by:

  • Enabling a systematic process for analyzing, forecasting, and planning their workforce.
  • Contributing to the development of best-in-class self-service tools to enable modeling of the SWP and automated dashboard reporting.
  • Supporting the identification of talent management insights based on their needs – such as having the right people with the right skills in the right places.

The Program Manager of SWP Data & Analytics will partner closely with the Director of SWP and others to transform how we approach and execute this function today, and ensure that we bring together our TWTE team to demonstrate a #TeamAmex approach to SWP.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the transformation of Strategic Workforce Planning reporting and analytics to best-in-class, automated tooling that enables self-service modeling and dashboard reporting.
  • Support the development of automated solutions, e.g., providing use cases and pressure testing modeling and dashboard solutions as they are developed.
  • Making the best use of existing tools, models, and data (including recommendations for improvements) to produce SWP reporting while a new, automated solution is developed and implemented.
  • Producing periodic Strategic Workforce Planning reporting, and workforce management insights based on SWP data sets using existing tools and models; and adapting how reporting is produced once an automated solution is in place.
  • Support planning and change management as new tools are rolled out, and ongoing support for end users as they self-serve.
  • Supporting the management of the TWTE budget in close partnership with our Tech Finance and Portfolio teams.
  • Identifying and tracking key Strategic Workforce Planning project deliverables and achievements using your toolbox of techniques such as research and data analysis, scenario modeling, business case development, and project management.
  • Collaborating effectively with partners such as Finance and our Colleague Experience Group, and building key relationships to identify and manage dependencies.
  • Managing outcomes by managing the details – sequencing and preparing for meetings and events thoughtfully to drive outcomes efficiently.
  • Being a motivated, high-performing change agent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of data analysis and analytics, including problem-solving skills.
  • Technical expertise to collect data and ensure accuracy, along with ability to process, design and present it.
  • 3+ years of experience in Excel.

  • 3+ years of experience in managing large-scale programs.
  • Experience managing stakeholders in a matrixed environment across multiple workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with experience running large scale programs.
  • Experience working in either Technology or Consulting, or closely partnering with Technology
  • Understanding of Agile practices.
  • Innovative mindset and awareness of external data management and benchmarking best practices.
  • Resourceful and thrive in ambiguous situations where you’re challenged to think in structured ways to get at what’s meaningful.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make inferences from data in ways that help people and organizations make better decisions.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
