Summary
This position can be located anywhere in Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages Territory.
This position will be responsible for supporting the ARTM, E-Commerce & Wholesale/Club channels focusing efforts against OTIF performance targets, mitigating chargebacks and driving operational efficiencies. This role will support all of Liberty Coca-Cola and require travel across all company territory. The Senior Logistics Planner will have the strategic responsibility to maximize utilization of drop and hook program by challenging the status quo and coming up with solutions to add new customers to the program. This individual will provide communication and data to both external and internal Customers, Key Accounts, Logistics and Demand/Production Planners, and Sales Center management teams to ensure efficient routing solutions and customer agreement compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead drop & hook process from end to end in order to maximize utilization of the program. Establish goals, analyze viability for new Customers to be added to the program, manage and create KBIs and update processes regularly, leveraging Operational Excellence principles to lead the Project
- Provide periodic metric reviews to leadership to report back on effectiveness of the drop and hook program.
- Coordinate/analyze loading and sequencing of orders at a production center, transport to the distribution center or drop lot, and delivery by the local Sales Center distribution team.
- Utilize planning and load creation software to build loads for identified drop and hook customers.
- Review of inventory levels, warehouse capacity, and product codes as it relates to product needs to execute drop and hook loads.
- Work closely with Sales Center, Supply Planning, Transportation, and Logistics Services to maximize opportunity and ensure all demand and forecasting needs are accurate.
- Run routine reporting to ensure the Sales Centers are optimizing scheduling/routing for ARTM, E-Commerce, Wholesale/Club Customers and conduct training sessions for utilizing the proprietary scheduling portals to book dock times with respective Distributors/Wholesalers/Club Stores \.
- Act as centralized point of contact for the ARTM, E-Commerce & Wholesale/Club Customer base for purchase order coordination and routine order generation/routing/delivery efficiency analysis.
- Tracks and monitors orders to ensure all orders are accurate and have a confirmed delivery appointment.
- Collaborate with internal/external customers and Sales Center Management teams to ensure order validation is executed flawlessly and data integrity exists for accurate and timely scheduling and planning of Liberty ARTM/E-Commerce/Wholesale/Club accounts.
- Develop communication routines with Sales Center teams, Planners, Key Accounts, and Customers on information regarding delivery and order status, purchase order and item verification, and OTIF compliance.
- Own the E-Commerce chargebacks management to mitigate potential fines and is responsible for the delivery scheduling coordination via E-Commerce Customer portals.
- Drive operational efficiencies in the Liberty ARTM/E-Commerce/Wholesale/Club channels through productivity evaluation and presents recommendations for improvement (i.e. TI-HI Order Management, Truckload Maximization, SAP Order Rounding, Pallet Returns, AML Verifications).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Production, Operations Management, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- 2-4 years planning and analytical experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- SAP Experience.
- Working knowledge of the principles of manufacturing, transportation, and planning.
- Working knowledge of specific supply chain capabilities, strategies and interdependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
- Previous experience in Sales, Distribution, Warehouse or Transportation Operations preferred.
- Sigma Certification strongly preferred.
- APICS Certification preferred.
