Positions Available: Placement Specialist/Direct Support Professional (Full-Time with Hiring Bonus)
Job Duties:
Instruct and guide the consumer in all areas of job exploration and development while promoting independence at a level relative to each consumer’s ability. Assist the consumer with obtaining a competitive job within the community consistent with documented abilities and goals noted in their vocational assessment. Assist the consumer in maintaining their employment status and works with employers to provide ongoing support services to promote job retention and advancement consistent with the consumer’s abilities and vocational aspirations.
Placement Specialist (PS) Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma/GED, have a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and proof of up to date auto insurance. Prior experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities in a social services field is not required but preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
