We are currently looking for an Engineer that will ensure the Integrity Plans are complete and designed for achieving As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) safety targets including zero rupture and zero leak goals. In this role you will execute the Core Process on all threat management programs on assigned segments of the Enbridge GTM system.
Here's what you will do:
- Conduct Pipeline Integrity assessment and analysis for Pipeline Integrity threat management programs related to the Enbridge GTM system, including Corrosion, Crack, Deformation Threat Management and Threat Integration.
- Conduct and support data analyses supporting of the integrity programs, including analysis of in-line inspection, Direct Assessment, Hydrotesting and Nondestructive Examination (NDE) field results.
- Support the implement integrity management processes.
- Support data integration and records management activities (digs, ILI, QA/QC) relating to core functions.
- Support the completion of validation and quality assurance of in-line inspection tools, direct assessments, and integrity programs.
- Ensure the continued compliance of integrity management processes with US regulations, standards, and best practices. Participate in regulatory audits as required.
- Support decision records and technical reports deliverables.
- Support focus projects related to assigned lines such as pressure restriction removal, audits, failure investigation, engineering assessments, etc.
- Provide a weekly status report summarizing assigned lines and programs activities.
- Support the enhancement/update of integrity management processes.
- Support Pipeline Integrity Engineering as assigned.
Who you are:
- You have:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university or college
- A maximum of 2 years of engineering experience that includes Pipeline Integrity experience
- Strong technical understanding of pipeline strength evaluation methods and engineering assessment development experience
- You can:
- Drive disciplined analysis through utilizing computer software, excel spreadsheets and data analysis tools necessary to conduct detailed data analyses

Working Conditions:
- This position is office based with occasional requirements to travel to field excavations, industry committees/conferences, and other office locations
- Travel 10% of the time

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
