Job Summary:
The Tote Picker is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the staging area in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Tote Picker is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
Essential Job Functions
- Pick totes for customer orders with RF scanners.
- Place items neatly into the cartons.
- Ensure accuracy of picked orders.
- Continuously strives to maintain production standard and improve inventory accuracy.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Must be flexibility with schedule to support company goals.
Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Ability to perform counts using basic arithmetic skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Management and others to deliver timely and accurate information.
- While performing day to day tasks, the associate is regularly required to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, and regularly lift 20 to 50 lbs.
Preferred competencies, education and experience
- Experience in a fast-paced distribution center with Inventory and Operations experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Environment
- Physical environment includes noise, heat, cold, and dust.
- Working in high traffic areas.
Physical Demands
- A walking position with standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching above shoulders, twisting, and kneeling as needed. Regularly lifting between 20 and 50 lbs.
Expected work hours
Monday- Friday 7:30am-4pm. Overtime required depending on company need.
