Novant Health is seeking an experienced Pulmonary &Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider to provide critical care and pulmonary services and perform select procedures under the direction of physicians in the inpatient setting. Through the use of interdisciplinary teamwork and comprehensive knowledge, the Pulmonary & Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider will provide services to critically ill patients with compassion and empathy.

Schedule is 8am-5pm, 7 days on, 7 off, covering every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree, required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master's NP program, required.
• Experience: One to three years of experience working in a acute care, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state, required. NCCPA orregistrywith state nursing board,BLS,DEA registry, required.
• Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
