Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join SSM Health SLUCare Hematology & Oncology Department in St. Louis MO
- Open to new grads, exp preferred
- NP or PA
- M-F, 8-5, no nights/weekends/holidays, no call
- Duties: Chemo assessments, clearing patients for chemo starts, mid cycle checks, sick visits, chemo education
- Average 10 patients daily, plus 1-2 hours of patient education
- 1:1 w patient care
- Available for emergencies (allergic reactions & infusion reactions. No codes)
- Infusion center only open 8-5
- Replacement due to retiring long time provider
- Located in separate building next to SLUH, West Pavilion Cancer Center
- Support staff – RNs (chemo certified), MAs, front desk staff
