This is a full-time position reporting to the CEO of the PHASE Alliance and Board of Directors. We offer flexible work options including in-office, hybrid, and remote arrangements, with a typical schedule of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies:
- Create and execute comprehensive fundraising plans that align with the PHASE Alliance strategic plan and annual financial needs.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Work with the legal team to comply with and advise on certifications, policies, procedures, and fundraising laws for the organization.
- Donor Relations and Stewardship:
- Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement stewardship programs to recognize and retain donors.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create impactful multi-faceted materials and events that inspire donor engagement and support.
- Grant Writing and Management:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government, foundations, and other sources.
- Write compelling grant proposals and reports, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Manage relationships with grantors and fulfill reporting obligations.
- Financial Management & Data Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and donors.
- Oversee and improve donor and financial data, and data processes for high accuracy, relevancy, and decision-making.
- Work closely with the finance team to develop and monitor fundraising budgets.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing development team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit management, or a similar field with a strong knowledge of principles, techniques, and trends.
- Demonstrated track record for fundraising goals in the multi-millions.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills to lead large groups to personal interactions.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.
- Experience in team management and leadership.
