Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Qualifications: Must be registered with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Must be able to work well with patients and other medical staff and assist the pharmacist in providing patient care. Must have basic computer skills and be able to learn systems and reporting.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Work as Pharmacy Technician at various location
- Input and process prescriptions
- Run register to ring out prescriptions
- Process insurance claims and resolve processing issues
- Follow policies and procedures for the pharmacy department
- Assist with daily operations of the pharmacy
- Attend staff and department meetings as required
- Assist in ordering and returning medications and pharmacy inventory
- Assist pharmacy posting clerk
- Process insurance remits and post payments
- Generate reports
- Track payments and outstanding income to report to finance department
- Assist with pharmacy staff training
- Maintain all required permits and licensure as required by Federal and South Carolina laws
- Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
***Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon the requirements of the particular position. Applicants with "previous like skills" may not be given the same weight and consideration as "previous specific same skills": i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, "Previous clerical skills" may not be preferred over "Previous Medical Clerical Skills".
