You must enjoy customer service as this technician role may be heavily customer service and front end oriented.
South Carolina Registered Technician required. Retail pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check. We are open
9:00am-5:30pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am-12:30pm Saturday. Closed on Sundays and all major holidays.
Job Objective:
Responsibilities may include data entry and manual fill duties, prescription inventory assistance, compounding data entry, assisting our clinical pharmacist with tasks, customer service tasks including answering the phone, and other pharmacy duties as they arise.

Responsibilities:
Retail pharmacy duties include but are not limited to:
- Customer Service and front-end management
- Greeting patients and 5-star patient interactions
- Answering the phone, taking accurate messages when needed, and directing calls to the correct teammate
- Over the counter product knowledge
- Excellent customer service and willingness to assist patients
- Assisting pharmacists as needed
- Manual fill tasks
- Data entry
- PBM resolutions
- PA and E-Rx requests
- Inventory assistance
- E-Care plan collection and input
- Assisting clinical pharmacist in role outside traditional retail technician duties
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Pharmacy technician license in South Carolina or national certification (State Certified preferred but not required)
- 1+ years of related pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
The position being filled will offer around 30-35 hours per week. Weekdays and rotating
Saturdays per month (1-2 Saturdays monthly).
