The Bilingual Pharmacy Technician (Care Team) will provide excellent customer service by providing effective, accurate, and timely assistance to customers. The Care Team Technician will also schedule refills while verifying patient demographics, managing the adherence list, and assisting with pharmacy reporting.
This is a full-time position located inLexington, SC (1216 West Main St) and the work schedule is Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

About the Role:
- Build and maintain an understanding of Avita's pharmacy products and processes in order to provide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and internal team members
- Receive telephone calls, take accurate messages, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel
- Assist pharmacy with day-to-day dispensing activities and recordkeeping maintenance
- Triage phone calls involving clinical questions, adverse reactions, or other matters as appropriate
- Call patients on the pharmacy’s compliance list five to seven days in advance of their upcoming refill to ensure refills are needed and expected
- On a daily basis, manage and update Pioneer accurately with shipping dates and priorities, follow-up notes, messages left, etc.
- Verify patient names, dates of birth, addresses, delivery dates, special delivery addresses, and any additional information required by refill scripts, and document the information in pharmacy system(s)
- Follow-up on prescription statuses with patients and prescribers
- Document appropriate notes and outcome codes in patient records as directed by Pharmacists
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Perform in accordance with company policies and standards

About You:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be actively registered as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in South Carolina
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong typing and data-entry skills
- Must be available to work full-time Monday through Friday from 9am to 5:30pm
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to and from our Lexington, SC pharmacy on a regular daily basis
- Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and flexible, have excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer service
