Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Supervisor provides oversight and/or direction of pharmacy operation and performs other functions. This includes implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, inventory management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance 

What qualifications you will need:

• Registered Pharmacist with current Texas License
• Graduate from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy clinical/operations specialist or one of the following
• • At least 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience required, preferably within area of focus
  • Completion of hospital PGY1/pharmacy specialty residency or fellowship
  • Other certification (e.g. FCCP, FASHP)
  • Hospital management experience
