ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily activities of the Pharmacy Technicians.
- Schedule and assign daily work assignments for Pharmacy Technicians and may perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
- Train, coach, and evaluate associates on performance expectations, and apply progressive discipline when appropriate. Participate in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
- Act as liaison between department and other hospital departments, physicians and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required.
