As a Pharmacist you will:
- Maintain excellent working knowledge of pharmacy practice and the Electronic Health Record. Verify and enter orders accurately, to ensure barcode scanning, timely accessibility of drugs, formulary maintenance, adherence to policy, and overall patient safety.
- Engage all members of the healthcare team, including patients and families to
- Accurately and safely prepare, label, check, and dispense all medication
- Communicate with team members regarding patient and department needs
Pharmacy Leaders, Clinicians, Technicians, Procurement and 340B,
Information Technology, and others.
- Practice pharmacy stewardship through approved clinical protocols,
- Maintain and supervise a working knowledge of Pharmacy Technician
throughput
- Participate in team meetings and others as assigned
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Graduation from an ACPE accredited pharmacy school, with PharmD degree;
experience, required.
- Strongly Preferred: Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy practice
- Considered: Recent graduate w/ minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy
counseling and medication therapy management
- Supervisory/management experience not required but welcome
