Pharmaceutical Customer Service Specialist
We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated with a "hunter" mentality and ready to enter the world of pharmaceutical sales.
This opportunity has a flexible schedule, part-time, hourly paid plus commissions. If you are a college student, stay-at-home mom/dad or just simply looking to enter the world of pharmaceutical sales this could be perfect for you. Candidates must be able to work 15 hours per week.
The Pharmaceutical Customer Service Specialist's or Physician Resource Specialist's primary responsibility is to establish healthcare provider accounts based on a target list and distribute product samples along with marketing materials to Physician Practices. This role is also responsible for supporting physician practice needs related to submission of prescriptions to designated pharmacy and any related activities to ensure patients can receive medications at least possible cost.
Responsibilities:
- Creates a profile of each account to include all mandatory fields prior to sample distribution to physician practice.
- Receives, documents, and prepares Galt Pharmaceutical Product samples for distribution to identified customer accounts.
- Documents resource specialist activities in the sample management app according to regulatory compliance and guidelines.
- Represents sample distribution for Galt Pharmaceutical Product in a professional manner to targeted Physician Practices using preapproved marketing materials and according to company guidelines.
- Provides information needed by healthcare provider practice to submit prescriptions to designated pharmacy and answer any question related to prescription fulfilment so that patients pay the least possible cost.
- While representing Galt Pharmaceutical products a Pharmaceutical Customer Service Specialist or Resource Specialist should present with a professional well-maintained appearance appropriate for the physician office setting (for example: well-fitting SCRUBS or Smart Casual attire).
- Develop relationships with Physician Practices to support both initial and ongoing sample requests.
- Refers prescriber practice staff to Galt Pharmaceuticals Medical Affairs for any specific clinical questions.
- Identifies HCP office needs and offers solutions based upon training and knowledge of resources available, including educational opportunities, central fulfillment, prior authorization process, and patient assistance
- Submits all required forms and data both timely and accurately.

- Proficiency in the use of iPads, computers, and mobile devices.
- Intermediate computer skills required (iOS, Windows, Word, and Excel).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrates integrity, high ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
Employment Requirements:
- Access to a Tablet Device with data plan to run required sample management application
- Successful completion of Resource Specialist Training and associated Assessments within 2 weeks of effective date and no more than 2 attempts (prerequisite to any sample distribution, account visits, or other related activities).
- Access to a well-maintained operational vehicle.
- Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
- Must be legally able to work in the US.
