As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be empowered to take ownership of Accounts Receivable and Internal Export Order Management to ensure that the Aerospace business services group achieves their primary goals and important metrics. You will ensure relationships are being maintained and responses are being made promptly to all requests to minimize delays in orders. Prior Customer Service experience via email is crucial to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Support corporate accounts receivable (AR) function by providing documentation, researching AR discrepancies, determining root causes.
Process credits and close applicable tickets.
Update customer AR contacts.
Process internal export sales orders.
Review and upload of applicable export documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
Support corporate export functions.
Remain knowledgeable of regulations related to international orders and changes that impact processes.
Responsible for acquiring late order information and notifying customers of any delays with their orders.
Keep appropriate partners abreast of the problems/solutions about the customer and achievement of critical metrics.
Address customer needs, inquiries, and concerns.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communications skills in writing, public speaking, and one-to-one negotiations.
Computer proficiency in order entry system and document, spreadsheet, and database software.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Hybrid:
This is a Hybrid position. Your work schedule would be a combination of up to 2 days remote and the remainder of your schedule would be at the closet PPG ASC or Transparency office. Please note, during the training period you will be required to be fully onsite for a period of time.
