Service Aluminum Corporation founded in 1987, one of the largest scrap aluminum brokers in the United States, a major supplier to the domestic scrap industry, and a major purchaser of scrap aluminum from dealers and manufacturers. Our entry level Customer Service/ Logistics position offers an excellent opportunity to join our fast paced team, in a casual environment. - Experience with trucking companies and scheduling
- Must be proficient with Microsoft word, excel and outlook
Responsibilities include:
- Complete follow-through on orders from beginning to end
- Enter data and accurately process orders and any associated documentation
- Scheduling picks up and delivery appointments
- Arrange trucks and negotiate freight rates
- Calling for shipped and received weights
- Review and approve supplier invoices and freight bills for payment
- Assist other departments as needed
- Handle busy phones, e-mails, and faxes
