Pet Care Supervisor

The Farm at Natchez Trace is a luxury pet resort located on Hwy 96 (close to Bellevue & Fairview). We're searching for a full-time Pet Care Supervisor for 2nd shift. The shift is Saturday thru Wednesday (Thursday and Friday off each week). Hours are 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm. Holidays/high demand periods are required.

Qualifications:

Experience handling various sizes and breeds of dogs, along with cats. Must be comfortable with all, and possess a true passion for dogs and cats.

Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to details.

Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with other departments and managers.

Demonstrate good common sense and basic computer skills.

Management/Supervisory or Team Leader experience preferred.

Veterinary tech experience preferred.

Duties:

Manage, support and oversee team members to ensure that all required tasks and guest (dog/cat) activities are accomplished during the shift each day; ensure policies & procedures are followed, and that each team member is “on task.

Effectively and safely handle dogs and cats, being attentive to their physical and emotional needs.

Oversee the health of all animals, evaluating health issues and making safety/risk evaluation as to the handling of pets in our care.

Prepare food for all guests; prepare and administer medications for all guests.

Conduct group play sessions with multiple dogs.

Maintain clear and constant communications within the supervisory team and other departments.

Be willing to alter your schedule (in some cases with minimal notice) depending on the needs of The Farm.

Any and all other duties as needed to ensure the utmost quality care is provided to our guests.
