Sanford, Bruker & Banks has a long history of providing insurance in Augusta and surrounding areas since 1915. Our Agency is looking for a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team due to growth. Company offers comprehensive benefits package including:

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Learn insurance quoting software (EZLynx) to provide quotes to Producers for “New” business in a timely manner. Primary responsibility in beginning of employment will be quoting in rating software, and matching with best carrier, and will work into other duties & responsibilities after efficiency in quoting “New” Personal Lines business.
- Promptly answer calls & email inquiries and perform insurance related functions.
- Maintaining account files & documentation.
- Provides timely, professional, accurate, communication to client, team, insurance carrier representatives and underwriters.
- Preparing & submitting policy change requests.
- Leading renewal process (obtaining quotes, creating proposals for Producers/Agent, preparing applications to be signed by insured, Issuing auto ID cards & certificates of insurance, etc.)
- Taking payments from customers/upload to appropriate company website.
- Support Producers/Agents to market new and renewal accounts.
- Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts; notifies the specific Producer/Agent as necessary.
- Processes and follows up on all client requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintains agency in financial equity whenever possible. Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Learn & be efficient using agency management software. (HawkSoft)

Requirements/Experience:
- 1 -2 years recent insurance experience preferred. Strong desire to learn and build career in insurance.
- Current Property & Casualty License is required to perform all the Personal Lines CSR duties. Agency will pay for all renewals of license & continuing education.
- Must have good attitude, teachable, and excellent work ethics & habits.
- Prompt attendance a must.
- Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals & objectives.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills.

- The ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
- Personal Lines CSR position is designed to support the Producers/Agents with their book of business and has a clear Career path to becoming one yourself in the future after mastering current position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42,142.79 - $50,752.60 per year
