Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team! This position will be expected to be in the office daily.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation, filing, and service of pleadings.
- Acting as liaison among all parties including court or other neutrals for sharing information
- Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of spreadsheets
- Coordinating the collection, review and production of documents and responding to discovery requests
- New York and federal court electronic filings
- Assisting with trial preparation, including subpoenaing records, assembling exhibits and witness binders, and coordinating witness preparation
- Summarizing deposition and trial transcripts and exhibits
- Researching case-related factual issues
- Compiling information and, preparing summaries to detail the findings
- Assisting with the mailing of required notices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience
- A minimum of 2 years of significant and substantive litigation experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm setting. Personal injury experience preferred but not required.
- Experience drafting, cite-checking, and correcting legal briefs (trial and appellate).
- Experience in managing document productions.
- Experience in billing hours
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent organization skills

Hiring Range
This is a full-time position. The pay range for this role is $45,000 - $75,000, which considers factors such as candidate experience and skill.
