Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide administrative support and assist with various tasks for a local business owner who needs help managing his goals, projects and daily routines. This includes managing his medical appointments and medical records, so discretion is a important. We are located on a farm in Afton, VA. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking while also being able to track, and manage, the progress of multiple ongoing projects, appointments and purchase orders. Adaptability is key as new projects are started regularly.
Do not apply if you have any reservations/concerns about animals, mainly dogs, as there are 3 dogs on the property. We are located on a farm so having a passion for outdoors will make you a great fit for this position.
The position will start as part-time with the possibility to become a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain schedules, including arranging appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, prioritizing and responding as necessary
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. This includes medical records and financial documents
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and logistics
- Conduct research and compile information for the individuals business responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise discretion in handling confidential matters
Skills:
-Ability to quickly type while listening as you will be required to draft correspondences while they are being dictated to you
-A good memory for tracking daily goals and routines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in event planning or coordinating is a plus
- Proficient in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in an administrative role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Knowledge of office management procedures is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
