WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A PERSON-CENTERED COUNSELOR

Immerse yourself in a fun and flexible role where you'll be dedicated to supporting Veterans and their families in navigating self-directed home care services. As a vital member of our team at MNRAAA, you'll have the freedom to work from the comfort of your own home, setting your schedule, and appointments according to your preferences. While independence and self-motivation are key, occasional travel (1-2 days per week, rarely overnight) will allow you to connect with clients in person and make a tangible impact in their lives.

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT PERSON-CENTERED COUNSELOR?

To excel in this exciting role with MNRAAA, you'll need a bachelor's degree in a human services-related field and experience working with older adults, caregivers, and service providers. Expertise in areas such as Medicare, public assistance programs, long-term care planning, and community resources is essential for success. Additionally, possessing a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a reliable car is necessary for occasional travel. Your knowledge of the unique needs of older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and long-term care systems will be invaluable in providing top-notch support.
