Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Weekends

We are seeking experienced, licensed therapists to join our thriving practice in Virginia Beach, VA (remote telehealth or in-person opportunities).

Are you a therapist who really wants to be in private practice but doesn’t want to deal with the headaches of marketing, billing, finding space, accounting, etc? If that sounds like you, Virginia Beach Counseling and Wellness could be a good fit. We are an upscale private practice serving children, teens, and adults. We have a special focus on holistic therapies, trauma, and the LGBT community but we address many other needs as well. Our goal is to provide personalized treatment and excellent customer service to all of our clients.

We take care of – marketing, billing, phones, scheduling for new clients, and office space.

You provide telehealth from the comfort of your home or from our Virginia Beach office.

Part-time – 10-20 hours a week; must be available on weekends

Qualifications:

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Current license to practice independently in the state of VA (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, licensed psychologist). We will consider provisional license (residents) who anticipate being fully licensed within 6 months. Supervision provided for up to six months.

At least two years clinical experience

Culturally competent and open to working with a diverse population, including the LGBT community

Credentialed with insurance is a preferred but not required.

Experience with children, teens, or couples is preferred.
