Mental Health Counselor/Therapist - Out Patient

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients to address their Mental Health concerns
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment
- Conduct group therapy sessions to facilitate peer support and skill-building
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote positive outcomes for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of Mental Health therapy

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist
- Specialization or experience in working with specific populations (e.g., children, trauma survivors, LGBTQ+ individuals)
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to Mental Health conditions and treatments
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices
- Ability to provide gender issues counseling and support
- Experience in providing PTSD care and trauma-informed therapy
- Proficiency in conducting group therapy sessions
- Strong research skills for staying updated on the latest advancements in Mental Health therapy
- Familiarity with coding systems for billing purposes (e.g., CPT codes)
- Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred but not required
- Ability to collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment outcomes

Pay: $50,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
