In the role of People Operations Specialist reporting to the Regional Head of People Operations & Services in Broomfield, CO, you will support employees and management for our Americas region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead employee lifecycle activities for our US, Canada, and Brazil offices, including:
- Onboarding and Offboarding - lead orientation for new joiners and exit process for leavers
- Manage employees' assignments, internal transfers, and rotations
- Manage employee leave cases
- Maintain employees' personnel files and documents in the HR Information System (HRIS)
- Maintain high level of confidentiality
- Expert use of HRIS
- Manage employee work authorization process, including visa and green card processes in coordination with immigration counsel
- Preparation and issuance of employment certification letters and other employment related documents
- Business card requests handling
- Invoice processing
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- Serve as point of contact for all employee questions regarding benefits, policies and employee relations
- Support with case management
- Back-up support for multi-state payroll including long-term incentives, benefits plans, and preparation of all necessary reporting
- Ensure compliance with and stay abreast of labor laws and regulations
- Proactively optimize processes, policies, and procedures
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Centers of Expertise
- Participate in global HR projects to further develop the HR function
- Prepare HR reports, statistics, and data upon request
What we expect
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably with a focus in HR or Business
- 3 -7 years of relevant work experience in HR operations and payroll, ideally in financial or professional services and international, complex environments
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
- Excellent communication skills; strong desire to learn; high attention to detail; effective interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to excel in a fast paced, results-oriented, high-volume environment,
- Ability to prioritize and work independently, as well as in a matrix organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and HR systems (SuccessFactors)
