Job description

Frontera Health is developing a tech-enabled platform to provide pediatric therapies for rural families in need. Our platform leverages AI/ML to establish the foundational video-based data model for early intervention and developmental disorders. By working with parents and caregivers in rural communities, we aim to increase access to care, improve health equity, and deliver personalized treatment for better outcomes.

Frontera is led by a world-class leadership team, well capitalized and backed by premier investors (Lightspeed and Lux), and already have 500+ clients eagerly awaiting our services. As Frontera continues to scale, we will continue to expand services and product offerings to better serve the families and providers in our communities.

Are you ready to be a champion for our incredible team?

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate People Operations Partner to join our rapidly scaling team! This role is the perfect blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll be responsible for driving our people-first culture, crafting policies, and handling all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Operations: Own the seamless onboarding of new employees, manage HRIS system administration, maintain accurate employee records, implement HR processes, and partner with team members on day-to-day HR needs.
  • Policy Champion: Develop, update, and communicate clear HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Trusted Advisor: Coach managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and professional growth. Conduct effective and thorough investigations when necessary.
  • Benefits Expert: Administer employee benefits, manage open enrollment, and collaborate with providers to deliver outstanding benefits.
  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate with the leadership team to champion employee engagement initiatives, create workforce planning strategies, and ensure alignment between business goals and our people practices.
  • Learning & Development: Develop and deliver training and retention programs to staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and New Mexico employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in HRIS system management; Rippling strongly preferred
  • Flexible to support across all People functions as needed (hiring, etc)
  • Experience operating successfully in a growth environment
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting; ABA strongly preferred

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package and benefits
  • The chance to shape a growing organization dedicated to transforming lives.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven, and technology-infused work environment.
  • Opportunity for professional development and growth within the HR field.

If you're ready to join our mission and help Frontera Health build the future of ABA, we want to hear from you.
