Job Summary The Peer Mentor/Student Success Coach promotes, reinforces, and supports the ACE Program by assisting students with overcoming any obstacles to their college success.

This role contacts the ACE students at least once a week to meet individually or in small groups throughout the semester. The Peer Mentor will be an ambassador of the program and will provide information about the different resources offered at the college. Additional Information Available on evenings and weekends (Saturdays are mandatory).

Will host Virtual Hangouts for students to help them feel both supported and connected as we prepare for every semester. Essential Functions 80% - Conducts one-on-one meetings with program participants weekly, individually, or in small/large groups; provides participants information regarding student support services and resources via phone calls or emails 10% - Assists in coordinating various ACE Programs' initiatives and events 5% - Assists with ACE student orientations and workshops 5% - Assists with ACE Programs' recruitment efforts; performs other duties equivalent to the grade level of position Minimum Qualifications Must be a current PC student; preferably ACE Program graduates Must have effective oral and written communication skills One (1) year or more experience in a leadership role Experience working with Microsoft Office or similar applications Self-Starter Special Working Conditions May be required to work evenings and weekends May be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor How to Apply Applicants are required to submit a resume showing how the applicant meets the minimum qualifications.
