RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop solutions for complex requirements in areas of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing to accomplish business goals.

• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

• Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.

• Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

• Extract the data from Legacy system and provide the data in new environment.

• Use Informatica ETL tool to implement business requirements and load into Oracle for Reporting on a Unix environment system.

• Use Hadoop infrastructure to enable processing of large sets of data using Spark, Map Reduce, Hive.

• Build framework with spark to perform transformations.

• Design and develop end to end ETL and BI solutions by sourcing data from various data feeds.

• Use SQOOP export/import to HIVE tables and then load them in Oracle to perform data manipulation and create reports for users.

• Process and manipulate data into HDFS using Spark by designing optimal solutions for faster processing.

• Use SQL ETL to develop Data Warehouse application in RDBMS.

• Use Linux and Unix shell scripting to manage and maintain production environments.

• Create ETL flows using Informatica PowerCenter 9.5.2 for new tables and modification in the rule for old tables in DW/DM according to the requirement provided.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and developing end to end ETL and BI solutions by sourcing data from various data feeds;

• Using SQOOP export/import to HIVE tables and then loading them in Oracle to perform data manipulation and create reports for users;

• Processing and manipulating data into HDFS using Spark by designing optimal solutions for faster processing;
