We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of Personal Care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the supervisor
Skills:
- Compassion and empathy for individuals in need of Personal Care services
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects if required
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
