Pca Personal Care Assistant

Independent Living Partners is seeking for an experienced PCA in Bloomington, MN, Minneapolis-Saint Paul & Metro area.

We are looking for a competent Personal Care Assistants to provide care for individuals in their everyday lives. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or individuals with challenges will make you a strong candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals receive their medication on time
• Support individuals who can’t move on their own
• Help individuals with eating, dressing, bathing, mobility, transfers, toilet use, positioning, personal hygiene etc.
• Assist individuals with meal preparations according to the individuals satisfaction & health restrictions
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Communicate with individuals' care team about their care
• Attend appointments with individuals
• Advocate for individuals well-being and provide companionship during the process of care
• Maintain a clean and tidy room at all times
• Maintain professional relationships with patients' family members or friends
• Adhere to health & safety standards/goals

• Proven experience as Personal Care Assistant

• CPR certified

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
