We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide direct support and patient care to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and their regulations is beneficial
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist residents with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
