Junior Copywriter

Our Digital marketing agency seeks an immediate in-house, full-time (hybrid) copywriter.

We are a niched, full-service digital marketing agency within the physical security industry. Our nationwide network of customers installs everything from home security systems to large-scale government surveillance integrated systems.

Our security customers hire our agency to increase their brand awareness and generate inbound leads. Many of our customers’ end-user customers are B2C interested in purchasing home security systems, but most of them are B2B that deploy integrated systems (video surveillance, intrusion, access control, and Fire systems) worth hundreds of thousands of dollars within their customers targeted vertical markets ie, healthcare, education, and banking just to name a few.

We are seeking an in-house full-time (hybrid) copywriter to develop:

• Our customer’s brand tone/voice
• Website copy
• Digital Ad copy
• Developing monthly articles to be used in E-Newsletters and blogs
• And possibly:
• PR
• News articles
• Magazine ad copy

Copywriter responsibilities will also include:

Monthly customer review meetings to discuss:

• Customer lead counts
• Customer engagement results
• E-newsletter open rates
• E-newsletter click rates
• Social media ad clicks
• And other ad engagements
• Ideas, strategies, split A/B efforts to improve customer results
• On-going education and research to improve customer results and elevate SD Marketing’s service offerings with new ideas

As a copywriting expert, you’ll be required to communicate directly with our customers when it is related to content within the customer’s marketing strategy, conveying new ideas and helping to answer any questions the customer may have regarding your articles, web copy, or content.

We are not looking for "yes sir" type candidates! We seek passionate professionals who are excited to bring new ideas to the table, someone who loves to share newly found knowledge or podcasts to help bring a new potential idea to improve our customer’s results.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
