Job Description
- This contract position will be responsible for reviewing and entering with logging additional data for the Hardware (particularly Hard disks) in Excel files.
- This process will require reviewing hard disks and the content stored within and confirming that the data matches historical reports.
- Additionally, new evidence must be handled following best evidence management practices and following all legal and compliance policies and procedures.
- Maintaining the chain of custody of electronic devices received from employees internally or through the mail.
- Review digital evidence stored on hard drives and ensure the data matches inventory log.
- Prepare Excel document following specific template to upload to web based evidence management system.
- Review data entered web-based evidence system to ensure upload of data is correct.
- Verifying that the documentation and electronic devices match what is being reported and what is received.
- High volume of data input from documentation received, such as an employee’s name and identifier, by handwriting and into a computer application used for tracking purposes.
- Maintain awareness and follow data handling, safety, and security policy and procedures.
- Mostly a Data Entry job with some know-how of computer hardware (especially plug-in/plug-out hard drives etc.).
- Strong EXCEL skills and previous Data Entry exp. is required.
