Lattis Networks is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Low-Voltage Cabling Specialist to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with a foundational experience in construction and a keen interest in developing a career in the low-voltage cabling industry.  Learn how to properly install Cat6a Data Cabling, fiber optic cabling, use test equipment to certify cabling performance, and more.  This is a great pathway to gaining the experience, skills, and know-how to pursue for your own contractors license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of low-voltage Data Cabling infrastructure in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Work under supervision to learn and apply techniques for cable installation, termination, and testing.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently in various construction environments.
  • Collaborate with experienced team members to learn best practices in low-voltage cabling.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and a basic understanding of construction safety practices.
  • Willingness to work on construction sites, with the capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Strong interest in learning low-voltage cabling and pursuing a career in this field.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A valid driver’s license, as the role may involve traveling to different project sites.
