Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain payroll information by collating, calculating, and entering employee hours into ADP payroll system
- Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, bonuses, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages
- Collaborate and work closely with HR on payroll/benefit related matters
- Pull data from company time card system
- Inform I9 errors prior to payroll date
- Report employee hours and target goals for FTE bonus
- Accurately execute bi-weekly payroll before ADP deadline for all units
- Facilitate bi-weekly pre-payroll meetings and report data to Directors
- Maintaining payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, federal, and state when calculating written checks
- Oversee benefits deductions during payroll
- Implementing procedures to limit payroll discrepancies
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
- Meet with accountant and VPB about post-payroll data
Must Have:
- At least 2 years experience in payroll or related field
- Reside and can commute around the Orlando, Fl area upon need (trainings/in person meetings)
- Highschool Diploma
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
- Prior knowledge of a payroll system (ADP Preferred)
- Excel (2 years+) and other Office programs
- Analytics and Problem solving skills
- Strong integrity and confidentiality
- Organization and Time management
- High proficiency in technology
