Payroll Specialist

Join our team as a Payroll Specialist and contribute to the smooth and efficient functioning of our Preschool franchisees nationwide and school management group. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain payroll information by collating, calculating, and entering employee hours into ADP payroll system
• Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, bonuses, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages
• Collaborate and work closely with HR on payroll/benefit related matters
• Pull data from company time card system
• Inform I9 errors prior to payroll date
• Report employee hours and target goals for FTE bonus
• Accurately execute bi-weekly payroll before ADP deadline for all units
• Facilitate bi-weekly pre-payroll meetings and report data to Directors
• Maintaining payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, federal, and state when calculating written checks
• Oversee benefits deductions during payroll
• Implementing procedures to limit payroll discrepancies
• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
• Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
• Meet with accountant and VPB about post-payroll data

Must Have:

• At least 2 years experience in payroll or related field
• Reside and can commute around the Orlando, Fl area upon need (trainings/in person meetings)
• Highschool Diploma
• Associates Degree (Preferred)
• Prior knowledge of a payroll system (ADP Preferred)
• Excel (2 years+) and other Office programs
• Analytics and Problem solving skills
• Strong integrity and confidentiality
• Organization and Time management
• High proficiency in technology
