Position Summary:
We are seeking a Payroll Specialistto join our team, responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for WhiteWater Express Car Wash locations, as well as monthly or as needed bonus payroll cycles. In addition, you will administer FMLA, ADA, and personal leaves in cooperation with our Employee Relations Specialist. This role also encompasses various administrative duties in support of the HR team as needed.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant on-the-job experience and training required.
Previous experience in payroll and leave of absence administration with exceptional technical skills and attention to detail required.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is desirable.
Candidates must have previous experience with time and attendance, HRIS, and payroll software, and intermediate-level capability with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Payroll Administration:
Collaborate with payroll professionals to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including quarterly and year-end requirements.
Accurately enter data into Payroll/HRIS systems and generate related reports (overtime, attendance, PTO reports, etc.) on a scheduled basis.
Process garnishment or child support orders as needed, including notifying employees and setting them up in the payroll system.
Collaborate with HR leadership to complete required reporting to outside entities related to payroll.
Respond to requests for verification of employment for active and terminated employees.
Administer staff benefit programs related to payroll processing (e.g., mileage, professional dues, and education reimbursements).
Leave Administration:
Administer FMLA and other leave of absence programs in collaboration with our Employee Relations team, communicating with leadership and associates as required.
Interpret policy and regulatory details related to FMLA, ADA, and Personal leave of absences.
Maintain electronic copies of disability claim payments initiation and termination for facilitating communication with leadership for timecard management.
Maintain ongoing tracking and reporting of leave management as requested by HR and leadership.
Department Support:
Review and approve assigned workflow changes from HRIS system to implement employee-specific changes to taxes, direct deposits, etc., submitted through employee self-service functionality.
Support HR leadership in PTO year-end processes to ensure accurate balance information is available to management and employees.
Update HRIS/Payroll/HCM databases with employee information as needed to support HR/Payroll workflows.
Export data from HRIS/Payroll/HCM systems for various reporting functions, including but not limited to attendance, headcount, and turnover reports to leadership.
Provide support to HR leaders and perform other duties as assigned.
