Payroll Specialist And Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

• Manage account receivables and accounts payable including collecting overdue payments from customers and paying monthly bills

• Reconcile all accounts in QBO on monthly basis

• Answer phone calls and respond to customer emails 

• Audit and reconcile monthly dumping bills

• Audit and maintain company insurance policies on bi-annual and annual basis

• Maintain and update bill tracking documentation

• Run weekly payroll

• Review and renew annual town permits

• Support ad hoc requests as they arise

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment and pivot priorities when necessary

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• 5+ years of Bookkeeping, and payroll experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Docs, and QuickBooks Online
