Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage account receivables and accounts payable including collecting overdue payments from customers and paying monthly bills
Reconcile all accounts in QBO on monthly basis
Answer phone calls and respond to customer emails
Audit and reconcile monthly dumping bills
Audit and maintain company insurance policies on bi-annual and annual basis
Maintain and update bill tracking documentation
Run weekly payroll
Review and renew annual town permits
Support ad hoc requests as they arise
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment and pivot priorities when necessary
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and take initiative
5+ years of Bookkeeping, and payroll experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Docs, and QuickBooks Online
