Payroll/HRIS Specialist

Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. is a leading electrical contractor serving clients across New England and the Southeast. As our company continues to grow, we are looking to add an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Payroll/HRIS Specialist to help with the implementation and continued development of a new system that will support weekly in-house Payroll for 1400 employees.
This position requires demonstrated Payroll experience, strong knowledge of Payroll practices and an understanding of Integrated Payroll and Human Resources applications. Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of hands-on Payroll experience is a must. Knowledge of certified payroll and interest in HRIS is a plus.
Responsibilities include:

• Being a key member of the payroll team to support the implementation and continued development of the payroll system
• Collaborating with the Payroll team in partnership with HR and MIS to ensure that our new system meets the end user needs while maintaining confidentiality and required compliance standards.
• Creating and maintaining reports.

• Assisting with system maintenance, testing, and documentation of procedures.
• Providing training and support to end users.
