Currently, we are hiring for a Navigation Managerto join the team.
The Navigation Manger is a full-time exempt position that reports to the Executive Director. The Navigation Manager is responsible for guiding individuals towards economic self-sufficiency by facilitating access to employment opportunities and addressing related barriers in their local communities. The Navigation Manager has the knowledge and expertise necessary to initiate successful planning and coordination of support. Work closely with clients to assess their needs, provide resources, offer counseling, and coordinate services that support overall self-sufficiency
Responsibilities:
- Authorizes and monitors employment support to ensure outcomes in accordance with a well-structured person-centered plan.
- Coordinate employment services by linking and referring individuals to needed services and supports offered by partner agencies and providers, routinely communicating with all parties involved and assisting the support team to focus on outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals to identify their employment skills, financial stability, and broader self-sufficiency needs.
- Connect clients with community resources, government programs, and social services that can address their housing, healthcare, childcare, and transportation needs.
- Identify training opportunities and educational programs that can enhance clients job prospects and assist in accessing these resources.
- Provide ongoing support to clients by monitoring their progress, addressing barriers, and making necessary referrals to support their self-sufficiency journey.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes for reporting, evaluation, and program improvement purposes.
- Offer one-on-one or group counseling sessions to help clients set realistic career goals and develop personalized action plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to develop and enhance employment and self-sufficiency navigation services and programs.
- Must have access to a car and possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to various locations when required.
- Perform other duties as requested and assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to helping clients achieve self-sufficiency.
- Has a deep-seated belief that the individuals being supported can enter the workforce and be successful with proper planning an support.
- Familiarity with financial literacy principles an resources.
- Knowledge of local social services, government programs, and community resources.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in career counseling, social work, case management, or workforce development.
- Previous experience in working with job seekers and partners to help guide low-income individuals to self-sufficiency.
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred) will consider an equivalent combination of training skill and experience.
