Pay Rate - $28/hr
Responsibilities -
- This role will be 70% accounting support and 30% payroll processing
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using UKG HRIS on a biweekly schedule.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy for both exempt and non exempt employees
- Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related payments.
- Generate payroll reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes including but not limited to; benefit deductions, 401k, HSA/FSA.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- 1+ years of General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, and Journal Entry experience required
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience using Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) is a huge plus
