Job Title: Payroll Processor (Hybrid)

Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly

Job Summary:

Camillo Companies is actively seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented Payroll Processor to join our team. The Payroll Processor must be able to prepare, process and review weekly full cycle exempt and non-exempt payroll; including and not limited to, benefits, taxes, and off-cycle requests while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. This role will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Be a full backup for payroll processing to the Payroll Manager with the ability to run payroll independently front to end.

• Ensure timely submittal of approved time records.

• Work directly with other departments and personnel to resolve pay discrepancies.

• Manage payroll inbox and respond to employee inquiries.

• Create all process mapping and SOPs for payroll processes.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with advanced conflict resolution skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees throughout the organization.

• Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree preferred.

• payroll experience required.

• payroll experience required.

• UKG Pro experience is highly preferred.
