Hybrid Schedule- 3 days min in office, 2 days WFH (after a training period)

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining payroll records in the payroll system, administration of time and attendance, ability to run a full payroll as needed by the business and various duties as related to processing of Compensation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Process biweekly payrolls for hourly and salary groups.
  • Every payroll; make sure that all steps are followed to ensure SOX compliance with all controls in place.
  • Keep accurate records of all payroll changes.
  • Administration of Time and Attendance System Dimensions and Syteline.
  • Help answering any employee questions related to payroll.
  • State allocations for Multistate employees.
  • Calculate final payroll for terminated employees and request payments as required by state law.
  • Maintain good records for all taxable and nontaxable wages.
  • Make sure new hires are paid correctly.
  • Set up garnishments and respond to inquiries.
  • Set up employee taxes including PA locals.
  • Communicate with payroll vendor with any issues related to payroll, taxes and garnishments.
  • Special projects or assignments as directed by management.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or Payroll Certification and 2 years of payroll experience. Experience with UKG and ADP preferable. Experience with Dimensions or similar time and attendance system.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with integrity and attention to detail is a must. Excellent organization skills. Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel. Data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy. Intermediate mathematical and reasoning skills. Knowledge of Garnishment administration, understanding of gross ups, taxable and nontaxable wages and fringe benefits. Understanding of pretax deductions and payroll calculations. Ability to build and manage effective relationships with internal team and members of management.
