We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Manager to join our esteemed company. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a professional with a strong understanding of payroll management, data analytics, accounting, and ADP Payroll. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing payroll functions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the entire payroll function of the organization, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
2. Implement and maintain advanced data analytics to provide insightful payroll and financial reports to senior management.
3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
4. Coordinate with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
5. Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
6. Use ADP Payroll system to streamline and automate payroll processes.
7. Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
8. Assist in the development of overall payroll strategy and lead its implementation.
9. Foster strong relationships with other departments, providing guidance on payroll related queries.
10. Continually review and improve payroll processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is a plus
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management
3. Advanced knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
4. Strong experience with ADP Payroll software is a plus
5. Proficiency in advanced data analytics and reporting.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
9. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
10. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
11. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
12. Professional payroll certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)) is a plus.
