At HR One Source we work with each client to bring a true understanding of everything related to their Payroll Process. We interact with our clients daily, at multiple levels within the organization.
Our Payroll Clerk will help us deliver outstanding Payroll Services to our Small and Medium size Business clients processing their payroll. Understanding the ultimate goal and importance of paying employees timely and correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Calculate and process deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate payroll reporting
- Assist with payroll tax filings and reconciliations
- Generate payroll reports as needed
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll or accounting role
- Proficient in 10-key typing for data entry accuracy
- Familiarity with payroll software such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of financial concepts related to payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
