Local small bookkeeping company looking for a part-time bookkeeping and Payroll Clerk to help handle multiple local companies. Will need to be available more during tax season. Previous experience a plus but willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Processing payroll information for multiple companies in a timely and accurate manner
· Processing payroll taxes with various agencies at the appropriate times
· Accurate filing of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
· Keeping employee’s information safe and current as needed
· General office duties including filing, answering phones and greeting clients
· Date Entry in various software including QuickBooks, Excel and Word
· Work within deadlines
· Maintain a strict level of confidentiality

Education, Experience
· High School Diploma or GED
· Associate’s Degree or above in Accounting preferred
· Previous Experience a plus
· Previous Experience in QuickBooks a plus
· PTIN certificate required; can be applied for if needed
20-25 hours a week, 40 during tax season (Mid Jan-Mid Apr)
Office open Mon-Thur 9-5, 9-4 on Fridays

Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
