Role: Payroll Clerk
Location: Naperville, IL - 100% onsite
Duration: Contract
Salary/Pay: $22-24/hr.
Hours: 8a- 4:30p

What's a typical day as a Payroll Clerk? You'll be:
• Processing biweekly payroll for 215 employees across 3 locations.
• Handling time and attendance issues, including punches and corrections.
• Preparing time and attendance data for payroll processing.
• Process biweekly payroll
• Transitioning from Novatime to Kronos payroll system.
• Following a detailed checklist for entering payroll, managing status changes, and entering new hires.
• Communicating with new hires and managing employee files with discretion and confidentiality.
• Assisting with benefits administration, including open enrollment and answering benefit questions.
• Conducting new hire orientation and managing reporting.
• Supporting the Wellness committee and other committees as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have some experience in payroll administration including processing bi-weekly payroll.
• Are detail-oriented and thorough in your work.
• Have experience with a payroll system, preferably Kronos or UKG.
• Possess excellent business communication skills.
• Are detailed, a quick learner and self-starter.
• Work well independently and can take initiative.
