Payroll Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and timely using payroll software (e.g., UltiPro, Workday) preparing all documentation for management verification and approval
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings for all employees including sales commissions
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits after verification by management and accounting
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, benefits, and leave time and produce these reports every payroll period. Prepare all reports required by management for payroll verification and to ensure accuracy
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding pay
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data in the payroll system
- Generate payroll reports for management as needed
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software
- Familiarity with accounting principles and general ledger accounting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees at all levels
